Wade's mom was able to fly up to join us for Abby's Birthday and we also invited Andre, Jen, Erik, and Veronica over. The party had a spring/flower theme - I guess we were feeling optimistic that spring would be coming soon.
I made the flower cupcakes but I had to call in the engineer to help with getting the cupcake bouquet assembled. I made a banner with the monthly photos like I did with Ethan's first birthday. Wade made the party favors for the kids - a garden tool box.
And after the party we watched the KU basketball game just like we did in the hospital the year before (I have a feeling it might become a tradition on Abby's birthday).
