After all the preparation and craziness, our Canadian Adventure is about to start. On Wednesday, it took four men eight hours to pack everything.
Friday morning at 7:30, the truck arrived and after 12 hours, the driver and two additional men had all of our belongings on the truck.
The truck is picking up additional loads in Austin, Michigan, Chicago, and Minnesota before crossing the border. We are going to be the 3rd load off the truck so it sounds like we will be waiting for our things for a couple weeks but that was expected. We took Ethan by the house to see all the boxes and to see the big truck but he's been fighting a cold so he's spent most of the week with grandparents (both sets since my parents came up for a couple days). There is snow expected in the KC area tomorrow, so we are hoping to head north ahead of it assuming Ethan feels up to it.
